The successful candidate will be Highway Technician 1 for the District 9 County Garage.
They must maintain CDL Class A or Class B along with tanker endorsement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
oOperate Basic Equipment (Flagging, Loader, Chipper, Skid Steer, Mowers, Chainsaw) oPerform general Highway Maintenance duties.
oPerforms Snow and Ice control duties.
oPerform Emergency Response, clean up and perform traffic control duties in a work zone or around an accident site.
oPerform minor repairs & Maintenance on equipment.
oPerform Miscellaneous labor and bookkeeping task, operates two-way radios.
oResponds to general inquiries from the public.
oThis job may require overtime for emergency or planned maintenance operations.
oServe the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.

Note:
Applicant must have valid Commercial Driver's License at the appropriate level pursuant to approved position description on file to operate motorized equipment of size & type regulated by section 4506 of Ohio Revised Code.
